Welcome to the Plutones Site. You will find information here about the musical activities of Joost Buis, an improvising musician and a composer living in Amsterdam. He plays trombone and lap steel guitar.
Joost Buis (1966) has been active in the Dutch improvised music scene since 1983 and has played and recorded with many groups in Holland and abroad. Check out the Discography page.
For current projects visit the Projects page. He organises several projects under his own name, the main one is a band called 'Astronotes' which recorded two CD's (available for purchase online in the CD Shop).
